This very bare-bones program automates the process of e-mailing photos, but does little else. Due to this limited functionality, Burnpix has few buttons to confuse you, although the interface appears cobbled together and wastes space. After opening a folder of pictures, the program displays a horizontal list of thumbnails and gives you a large preview when you select a certain image. You then check the boxes of all the photos you want to-email, and the application automatically resizes them, pastes them into your clipboard, and opens your e-mail client. The app saves the resized pics on your hard drive for later use, but you can't change the destination directory to a more convenient location. Burnpix also creates extremely simple slide shows from your shots, but that's the only extra feature you'll find. Folks who routinely e-mail lots of photos may find this app saves them a little time, but most others probably don't need to bother.
