• The Best Renderer I Have Ever Used!

  The fastest and easiest 3D software I have ever used!

  Interface is a little primitive but I think it is because it is so new...I read around online and I think they might be working on a major improvement.

  Summary

  I don't know what happened with the first review on this page because this is by far one of the most impressive and innovative pieces of software I have ever used. I have been using 3D software since 2001 and I am completely floored by hyperShot. It actually ray traces in real-time. It used to take me 15-20 minutes for a small test render in Maya only to find out I didn't like the results. Somehow Bunkspeed made this happen in real time! It is also unbelievably simple. In addition it seems to not require massive hardware setup to run. I am only running a dual core AMD processor with 1GB of RAM and this thing blazes! I look forward to seeing how this product evolves. Great job Bunkspeed, you have gained a new fan!

  Pros

  I didn't know anything about the software, but learned how to use it in a day. Everything is self explanatory and the website offers GREAT tutorials. Check out the forum on the bunkspeed site and the facebook page for more help!

  Cons

  umm makes my laptop run a little hot...? But if I need to switch between programs I can pause it (shift+p) and it cools down.

  Summary

  Works with all programs. It's fun too, if you don't want to model something, but just create an awesome image, go to the google 3D warehouse and download a sketchup model and have at it! You can also post images you've created on the bunkspeed website in the forum. Very cool software...

  It took almost 5 minutes to learn how to use it.

  Summary

  I really liked this product, I have very little CG experience, and I was able to make the model from the desgn group look like it was already made and ready to be sold. My boss is gonna have a heart attack when he sees these images.

  Imports a wide variety to model types and offers great default materials for a truly FAST experience. Lighting and shadows are effortless and just look right! This is untouchable in the marketplace for those that need to get great results fast.

  Cons

  Interface is a little old school but it doesn't detract from the product.

  Stunning results in little time for not that much money...For those of you who thought this wasn't possible let hyperShot change your mind.

  Pros

  works with Sketchup, Solidworks, Spaceclaim, Pro/E, IGES, STEP, OBJ so can import data from anywhere and amazing results in seconds. The materials are amazing. Took only a few minutes to learn.

  Cons

  It took a few minutes to find the hot key map (hit the 'k' key to pop it up. Without hot keys it's kind of hard to move the camera around.

  Summary

  Simply the fastest, highest quality renderer for any 3D data out there.
