  Pros

  Completely free software that provides all the functionality you need from a standard web browser, as well as a few extra's. The options page gives you sooo much customization over it's functionality, look and feel.

  Cons

  If you don't like Internet Explorer, then this isn't the software for you, as it's is based on IE. The FP tool has room for improvement, so if your looking at using this software to protect your kids from nasty web sites, there are ways around it!

  Summary

  This is a great web browser in terms of features, and they really do work well, as long as your prepared to spend time configuring them. This browser would be especially useful in a more business environment, where you can provide all your users with a default list of web sites, or in a more secure environment, where you might want to restrict users to a specific web sites. You can even enable "Requests", which allows a user to request access to a particular web site. An administrator can then approve or deny these requests. The password screen when we first installed Browse Secure was a little confusing, so if you decide to download this software, the password is blank. We contacted Mad-Monkey via their "Contact Us" page, and were amazed at how quickly and helpful they responded. Some of our concerns were quickly addressed, and were told that this password screen would not be appearing in the next release (v3.20).
