  I have loved it from the beginning but now that they have dumped it something better will come along. Until then I'm sticking with BOXEE on my Mac & PC.

  Pros

  There are no pros when an application is impossible to run. Skip this version.

  Cons

  This version always bombs.

  Summary

  Skip this version entirely. Use version 0.9.23.15885 until a working update is available. It still works. If you insist upon trying v1.5.0.blahblahblah, it is critical to read the latest information at the Boxee Mac forum. I personally tried an entirely clean install of this version many times with consistent failure stopping it bombing.

  Pulls in content from nearly all online sources including YouTub and Netflix, as well as media stored on your local network.

  Cons

  No Amazon or (legal) Hulu.

  It's free, so you might as well give it a shot.

  They keep updating fixing glitches - you don't need force quit to log out anymore. Using the iPhone as a remote is fun.

  Boxee is a great way to enjoy your favorite online shows, videos, and music sources, and includes a nice media player for your onboard media as well. It includes a robust set of codecs for opening media that may otherwise be difficult...

  Cons

  While Boxee is the best of what's around, the user interface could use some sprucing up. Perhaps add some options that allow for different themes to be installed?

  Summary

  If you're looking to consolidate your online content with your onboard content into one application, Boxee delivers a very solid experience. I've been using it for quite a while now, and highly recommend it.

  Compiles my online life into one app. The new interface is easy to navigate and there is a ton of content available.
