Boxbe is an amazing new free service that cleans up your existing inbox. It works by combining the best anti-spam techniques and features to make sure you only get email you want to receive.
Filters SPAM, but so does the SPAM filter of my email account
Cons
Does not provide any obvious benefits that I can see. Information displayed on the Boxbe website does not make sense (i.e. it stated 150 emails had been blocked one day) and I was unable to change the SPAM filter values.
Summary
Ultimately, the customer service was terrible. In response to my question regarding finding out what the 150 blocked emails were because I wanted to make sure important emails were not being blocked, I received the following response from customer support: "We can first start by inquiring if you realistically think you would receive 90+ messages addressed to your...email account..."<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Sep 20, 2011<p/>***Note, this review was meant for the current Boxbe version (as of September 2011), not Boxbe 1. Will try to have CNET change it over.
I wish I had not logged in to this service

Pros
None that I can think of.
Cons
It spreads itself. Your friends will hate you.
Summary
It harvests email addresses and sells them to spammers.
Don't even think about it! This anti-spam program is spam itself because it usually spreads from user to user, integrates itself into your email and you can't get rid of it.

Pros
Cons
Serves no additional (to Yahoo email) purpose whatsoever; it is a worthless program. It cannot be uninstalled or de-activated, at least not at this time. It integrated itself into my Yahoo email. I contacted the outfit that makes it AND also Yahoo Mail help, but received no response or help at all. Once you get it, you are stuck. It caused major inconvenience for me. It uses you as the "carrier" to spread it so others (when you email them, you invite them to use it) so they can be stuck with this spam program too.
