  Pros

  Having a mess of more than 8,000 bookmarks gathered over a decade or more, I have tried a number of bookmark organizers and this is the only one that has served me well. See ckstaley's review for details.

  Cons

  I see why some find that the app is not intuitive, but if you want a lot of options, this is the price you have to pay.

  Summary

  I would recommend BookMacster to any power user with a lot of bookmarks to clean up and order.

  There are none.

  Cons

  Copying data from one place to another should be simple. Bookmacster clearly doesn't understand simple.

  Summary

  Copying bookmarks should involve selecting the browser you want to copy from and the one you want to copy to, but Bookmacster insists on having so many settings that can't be avoided that it's easier to use the browsers' own export/import options.

  Pros

  The program has many features which allow a great deal of flexibility to sync bookmarks with several different browsers and operating systems. It does not work with windows though.

  Cons

  Very complex settings and hard to follow instructions. There are some bugs in the program.

  Pros

  Finally . . . a bookmark organizer that actually organizes! It's everything one could want in a bookmark organizer. I have always been so frustrated at the bookmark capabilities of all the browsers I have tried (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Camino). Now I can use my favorite (which, for me is Safari) and can organize my countless bookmarks in a MANAGEABLE way. I absolutely love it. * Manages all bookmarks (arrange them any way you want - alphabetically, manually, etc...) * Creates Folders and -get this- actually be able to SEARCH by FOLDER name as well as bookmark name * Merges bookmarks from your various browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc...) * Syncs to iCloud * Keeps track of all your changes and automatically syncs to all your browsers and iCloud (if you want) * Management of your bookmarks can be as complex or as simple as you like - you decide what syncs, how your bookmarks are organized and it gives you all the tools to do it with. Well Done, Sheep Systems!!

  Cons

  I guess there could always be a con or two, but I cannot think of any at this point in time.

  Summary

  In my opinion, don't hesitate to acquire BookMacster. If you would like to actually have bookmarks organized the way you want them, and be able to find them all, even the folders they are in, it's worth more than every penny they ask for the software. That's my two cents :-)
