Dev-Pascal is a full-featured integrated development environment (IDE) that enables you to create Windows-, DLL-, or console-based Pascal programs using the Free Pascal compiler. Features include a Pascal compiler for Win32 (Free Pascal), a debugger (GDB or Insight), customizable syntax highlighting, a powerful multiwindow editor with many options, the ability to work in source file or project mode, a setup creator, a project manager, a compiler, a linker and resource results, the ability to insert Pascal codes and statements automatically, two different icon sets for menus and toolbars in Dev-Pascal, a tool manager, and templates for creating your own project types, and more. It also contains support for Insight Debugger.

change the folder "Icons" to "Icon" (i.e. to remove the "s"), otherwise there will be error when compiling: Resource file Icon file not found (please change it in Project Options)

I f you're a beginner to Pascal programming this is almost useless, it's just horribly confusing. The so-called "tutorial" is so basic in it's description of the operation of the program that it might just as well not be there.

I would recommend this to someone that will sit down and keep trying things to figure this out. I dont have anyone to learn from so it is not fun. I do make programs and stuff but i make them with a simpler program. If someone would be willing to give me instructions that would be great.
