Despite the omission of in-depth editing tools, this freeware application keeps track of your blood pressure readings quite well. To start using Blood Pressure Tracker, you enter details such as your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, and the time of day the reading was taken. The color-coded calendar marks green if your blood pressure is normal, orange if you're on the verge of hypertension, and red if you have high blood pressure. The latest update lets you customize "normal" blood pressure, which is a welcome addition.

Blood Pressure Tracker displays your information graphs, allowing you to see your blood-pressure history over a specific number of weeks, months, or years. It's nice you can print all records and charts, but unfortunately you only can delete--not edit--individual entries. All things considered, health-conscious users seeking a blood-pressure-monitoring tool will find this program suitable, particularly since its price won't cause any stress.

After scouring the Web for a easy to use, easy to read and interpret, informative record of blood pressure and heart rate, here's yet another program designed by someone who has no clinical health care experience. The bright colors and numerous boxes may look pretty on your laptop, but your Doc or Nurse sees, well, colorful dots and numerous boxes filled with isolated information that requires far too much time and effort to connect to the related boxes and make sense out of. Caregivers are not interested in the extraneous details - they want to know your BP and Heart Rate. On the user's end, there must be a simpler way to enter numbers without scrolling through a long list from 0 to 300 for each entry. Maybe just typing the numbers would work. I've been charting and interpreting vital signs for 40 years and making a graph is not rocket science. I'm using a spreadsheet template, which is only marginally better. Come on someone; talk to a clinician and make us a program we can use.

This software is almost identical to the glucose tracking software. It is simple to use and an excellent way to keep track of your blood pressure.

great for a rough guide as to how the blood pressure is going

when printing the graph it is a little limiting with the graph points, there is not an accurate plotting as it doesn't print the readings above the reading. My Doctor didn't like it as an accurate record for me to use for this fact.

I shall still use it for my own records and write in the readings, but will have to find a better program to record the readings for the Dr.
Keeps track nicely and makes it easy to see trends !!!

After using it for a year and being able to print the graph to personally take to the family Doctor, the response from the Doctor has always been positive to enable her to see a clear pattern in the results.
Cons
Only wish the full details of the dates and actual figure readings were also included in the printing of the results, for the Doctor to fully see the total results, instead of just a series of different coloured dots!
Summary
I highly recommend this Program for anyone who has a home Blood Pressure Monitor. You are able to see how high your pressure has jumped up if stressed out, or how low if you are suffering a medical attack due to a condition you have. I love the program as it's so easy for a wheel chair bound person to operate themselves and I highly recommend that a short series of long deep breathing exercises before using your monitor at first, be carried out to allow for any previous movement you have just made it setting it the blood pressure kit up, prior to taking your reading. I give this program 100 out of 100!
