BeautyPlus - Selfie Camera + AR for iOS

BeautyPlus is a photo app that includes multiple tools for removing blemishes and smoothing skin tone to make portraits come out perfect. It's easy to use and works well, so you can always put your best face forward in your pictures.

This app opens a brief tour the first time you open it, which is helpful but not really necessary given its highly intuitive interface. When you're ready to start beautifying your photos, just select "Self portrait," "Beautify," or "Magic brush" from the home screen. The Self Portrait option lets you take a photo immediately through your phone's camera, and then saves it to your camera roll. Choosing Beautify, on the other hand, gives you access to all of your photos, so you can choose an existing one to touch up. Just select a picture, and you'll be taken to the editing screen, where you can choose from a variety of tools, including some for adjusting your skin tone, removing acne, brightening and enlarging your eyes, and slimming your face. And those are in addition to the filters and editing tools that you find on many other photo apps.

Once you're happy with your photo, the app facilitates sharing via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Flickr, as well as through e-mail. Or you may choose just to save your photo to your phone for now. This app is free, and it contains a lot of handy features that distinguish it from other photo apps, so it's definitely worth a try, particularly if you like taking portrait-type photos of yourself or others.
