With the BAUHAUS NAUTIC App 2.1, nothing stands in the way of your next sailing trip. With practical functionality, such as its comprehensive dictionary and three features, like the knot chart, signal chart, and on-board petty cash, you'll be on your way over land and water. Whether on the high sea or in the harbor on land, the NAUTIC dictionary ensures you can easily communicate all over the world in English, Dutch, French, Portuguese, Italian, Danish, Spanish, Greek, and Turkish. Over 1,800 technical terms from nautical science have been translated in all nine languages and arranged into eleven categories in order to make retrieving them quickly and reliably. For example, in an emergency, you'll find basic vocabulary under the categories First aid, Safety, or SOS for global comprehension. The informative knot chart provides you with an overview of the 20 most important knots. In eight categories, you'll find easy to understand, step-by-step instructions that illustrate how to tie each knot. The on-board petty cash function enhances the NAUTIC app and lets you easily manage crew details such as mooring charges, fuel, and supplies. You can also use it to allocate expenses to the individual participants and convert your charges into nine European currencies. Additionally, version 2.1 now offers a signal chart as well, which provides you with a quick overview: from emergency signals to no-entry or warning signs, stress and sound signals all the way to regatta flags and numeral pennants. What's more, the app informs you of the locations of the NAUTIC functional departments and the most current offers in your BAUHAUS specialty centre.
