This graphically rich game puts the classic Battleship board game in the third dimension. Battleships 3D is played just as its real-world counterpart, since you must correctly guess the locations of your opponent's ships to sink them. We like the program s graphics, sound, and presentation. Each time you fire a shot, the camera pans over to your opponent s fleet and actually shows the explosion or misfire. The game offers a decent feature set, letting you play in both full-screen and windowed modes, choose from several board styles, and compete against either your friends or online opponents. It's also nice the game lets you fully test it for 15 days and doesn't contain any irritating nag screens. If you consider yourself a fan of the classic naval-war game, you're likely to enjoy Battleships 3D.
