BattlePets: Avalar is the sequel to the hit, BattlePets. It is an enhanced version of the original, with 50 all-new BattlePets created by Bob Cooksey; 49 magic powers; and a better, more interesting story. Players start out with just one BattlePet, but can catch as many as five at a time. Much like they do in a Pok�???�??�?�©mon adventure, the players explore dark caves and haunted castles, battling wild BattlePets and training their own. When the players feel ready, they can challenge each of six evil tyrants in an attempt to free the island of Avalar.
