If you like simpler games .. and are a fan of the old Battleship you'll love this.
If you enjoy WWII naval strategy and a little history ... you'll love this too.
Cons
I bought this game several years ago and really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, when I installed a new hard drive and could no longer find my registration email, I could never get hold of Customer Service ... Ouch.
No idea about support@battle-fleet.com ... where are you guys ???

Cons
1. sound
2. tried to purchase, still waiting for the "instant" download 6 days after payment.
Summary
Followed the link to purchase full version, used paypal, no confirmation mail with code was sent, spent 3 days with their customer support telling me they had no record of my purchase, sent a copy of paypal account showing purchase and have not heard from them since (2 days). DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
Currently I'm using the paypal resolution process, however I no longer want this game, instant should not be 7 or more days long. Seems they use multiple vendors & have no coordination with any of them.
Not a bad game needs some tweeking.

Its very easy to use and understand, even though you have to have your wits about you which makes it a decent game to play.
Cons
I was unable to (at times) position all of my ships around an enemy to fire at it which gave the enemy an advantage

Pros
The interface is fairly easy to get the hang of. The game has considerably more depth than Batleship, to which is it compared in the tutorial. I especially like the variety of scenarios available to try in the demo version. The first scenario that I played in the demo version was as the Japanese fleet attacking Pearl Harbor. The game has a good amount of variety in what scenarios and maps you get to play with in the demo version. I liked the ease with which you could move your ships, either individually or in groups, and I like the easy attack system that the game uses for resolving battles. My gut feeling is that it is a decent war game, if you like naval warfare type of games. I enjoyed playing the demo right from the start. Having those ultiple Japanese carriers to play with in my first game was a big plus, for building enthusiasm. I got my ass kicked in that first game, but I had fun while doing so. It made me want to replay the scenario, and to continue playing the game. Also, the file size is fairly small, and doesn't take forever to download, if you are on a dial-up Internet connection. All things considered, I definitely recommend the game for downloading and playing by other gamers.
Cons
The worst thing about the game are the graphics, which, while not horrible, leave a lot of room for improvement. This carries beyond just the graphics for the ship units, but throughout the interface. But, the deficient graphics do not inhibit one's ability to enjoy playing this particular game. Is it worth $19.95 for the registered version? That's hard to say, since I have only played the demo a few times, yet. My suggestion is to download it, try it a few times, and then decide how much replay the value has. I would be more inclined to pay $10 to register it, than $20, but the game has more going for it than many war games priced much higher.
