Barfield Inc. designs and manufactures Ground Support Test Equipment (GSTE) and is improving the aircraft maintenance industry one App at a time. Barfield's new and innovative app transforms any Android tablet into a wireless remote control for the DPS1000 and the 1811NG.

The latest Split-Screen feature allows the user to open a PDF document downloaded from Dropbox into the app while operating the Test Set. Additionally, once the app is connected to the DPS1000/1811NG via the embedded secure Wi-Fi, it detects its firmware version and automatically prompts the user to proceed with the upgrade if necessary.

Ground Support Test Equipment are used for testing aircraft Pitot-Static/Air Data systems. They are fully automated and boast a user friendly interface with color touch screen and programmable test routines. With this new generation of aircraft line maintenance testing through a tablet app, Barfield is helping its market and industry take a giant step forward with reliable, economical and universal Air Data testers.
