Extract live audio from any source and make your PC react to it.

Audio Zone Trigger is a sound detection software. It takes live audio from any input source and enables the computer to react to it in the way you specified. The sound-detection system lets you set any number of Triggers that perform any number of user-defined responses (record sound, run a file, execute a hotkey). The triggers can also dynamicaly adapt to the environment's sound volume to detect only sound peeks. You can set each trigger's sensitivity and actions individually, giving you full control.

Works fine- very handy app

Pros
Simple to use and very useful. Especially valuable for monitoring barking dogs during the day (such as if you get a noise complaint with a new puppy). Simply set the threshold to around where a bark would be and set the action to record audio for x number of seconds afterwards. I ran this with our new dog (whom our neighbors were complaining was howling all day but who never made a peep while we were home) only to find around 20 or so "singing" sessions waiting for us. This program- plus a bark collar- helped us to break him of the howling and kept us from getting evicted!
Cons
Well, they don't "do" Audio Installation (so I think you can ignore the review above). This is just a program.

Just got back from Audio Zone here in Orlando. I was told they would be able to fit a new fancy radio for my new Smart Mercedes. Not so much. The guy was lazy, inattentive and basically didn't seem interested in the business. I explained that I had found a 'kit' on the internet for the 2012 Smart Car, but he just shrugged. I guess they don't need the business. If anyone knows of a nice Orlando Car Audio store that would like some business, please let me know! I will NEVER shop at Audio Zone again!
Summary
I'd avoid at all costs. I think I'll try Best Buy or anyone else; maybe a neighbor kid before I'd ever go to Audio Zone!
