The only deluxe feature of this recorder is its golden design. As for the rest, Audio Recorder Deluxe has only elementary capabilities. It can encode the sound into MP3 on the fly. The built-in scheduler starts and stops recording. The program doesn't allow changing the way files are automatically named. The built-in editor can only work with one file at a time and supports basic operations: you can cut and insert audio fragments, add fade-in/out, insert silence, and change the speed. Bottom line, Audio Recorder Deluxe will only do for PC novices.

I have just spent the day looking at recorders and yours is way ahead of the rest.... The editor is an excellent feature, useful for clippping of the end and beginings of shows when you are not around to stop the recorder or indeed to remove advertising from the middle of a show. <p> <p> <p>As a software author myself I am not easily impressed... but you managed to keep it simple and easy to use and yet powerful all at the same time... well done! <p> <p> <p>All The Best
