• Far and away the best Ebay research software

  Gathers all the data you might need. Excellent customer support.

  Cons

  You have to run the program on a regular basis to build your database of past auctions. Each run gets the last fortnight's worth of data from Ebay. Running it twice a month is enough to build a complete database.

  In a world of sell now, disappear after 6 months type sellers I appreciate all your efforts. The best $$ I ever spent on ebay. I've sold on ebay since Jan 98 and have seen all the programs come and go. Ones that probably no one here even remembers. <p> <p>AI has been great in that respect - always updated as eBay changes, and always providing more research detail than any other program. The latest addition - the eBay Motors add on is a great example, it delivers a ton of new information and works great as always. <p> <p>Anyways, just a quick note to say thanks for all your hard work on AI. It's simply amazing what you can dig out of ebay if you know what you are looking for. <p> <p>-EbaySeller

  1'st off I'd Like to Say This is ONE HECK OF A PROGRAM!! -- My Hat is off to the developers. I'm using the software for about 1 week now and the data I have collected is invaluable. I have tried other 'anaylsis' programs and none of those even come close. I love the idea of down & dirty bare bones no un-needed bells & whistles. I use this for ebay motors only (the 'other' anaylsis program has dropped the motors completely and I have since canceled my sub to it). The other impressive part is the response in the forums. VERY FEW complaints or problems!! (when there is a mod answers the question/problem in detail). I use auctiva poster for my listings, nice program, does the job, but has some issues (take a look at their forums). I plan on staying with AI forever!!...I just wanted to express my view of the program so that someone that may be unsure of trying it out will!! <p>Thanks Again & Keep Up The FANTASTIC Work

  Pros

  This program is amazing. I've been looking for an application that would help me better understand the eBay market, and prior to this I hadn't found anything that I felt like really gave me the data I was looking for. With all of the reports, and the data to show which items, and especially which sellers are the hot/top, I feel like I've got a window into a world that I was missing before. I also tried sending an email to tech support (mostly to see if it existed) and got a fast, courtious reply - a breath of fresh air these days.

  Cons

  The download is a bit large at 50MB, but other than that, it's a great program.

  Pros

  After you get used to it, you can enter information of what you want to buy, and it will show you trends on when the highest purchase times are and the lowest. It helped me get many items (over 10) at well below regular price or even the average going rate. If you want to sell items, this will show you by previous sells when the best time to sell items are and which ones sold for the greatest amount.

  Cons

  It takes a little getting used to and if you have a dail-up connection I would advise that you run the program when you are going to bed. It collects large amounts of data from ebay and downloads it to create a database for you. The only other con is that SQRL server starts up every time you boot up your computer. It would be nice if you could start the program on your own or tell the computer to boot it up next time, you reboot.

  Didn't actually get to use the program. They require you to register and provide your payment info to Paypal before you can use the online features. You have to cancel before the 14 day trial ends to avoid being charged. They don't mention that in their description before you waste your time downloading and installing it. If they are so worried about losing revenue by somebody using it after the trial they should program an auto-shutoff feature into the software. <p> <p>This is against Download.com's submission policies. <p> <p>I wouldn't have even given it one star, but the system wouldn't let the review post without it.
