ArtStudio is a simple yet powerful drawing program that was created by an artist who is also a software engineer. ArtStudio allows you to draw and rub colors naturally. Similar to traditional drawing techniques. Most brush changes can be accomplished with a single mouse click. You can create your own palette of colors by mixing them together in the same way that a painter would. You can select a 'trace image' to help you draw. Press the space bar to see the trace image, draw on top of it, and then release the space bar to see your drawing. ArtStudio also records your entire drawing so that it can be replayed. You can replay it as your screensaver with the Artwork Screen Saver that is included with ArtStudio. You can even e-mail your drawings to someone who can then play them with the free Artwork Player or package them as m-mail Art.

Version 2008.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

The drawing of the tiger was very cool. I had a small problem and the author of the software helped me fix it himself. You won't get support like that fromk a big company.

Simple interface that is easy to use and very affordable.

Missing some image editing features that the expensive programs have but it realy isn't an image editor. It's a drawing program.
