3D modeling- basic design

Pros
I haven't used it yet, but they claim - or SEEM to claim -- (I don't know, they're kind of wordy about it) - Ease-of-use for the beginner.
Cons
MUCH, MUCH too expensive. For a beginner product, it's over-priced. I don't know who their target market is, but there are a lot of customers out there who will go elsewhere for their starter software.
Summary
Just reading the description on this software makes me wonder about the motives of the designers. I've used free software that has some fairly user-friendly interfaces. I can't imagine finding one I'd want to pay $1k big bucks for. -- Possibly a program that does more than just the basics, but a starter program? - Shockingly overpriced.
