• Big Ben Chimes is fine - junk software with it is not.

  Pros

  Not only does it give a rich sounding playback of the Big Ben tolls for each quater hour, it also permits installation of audio files from your own collection to play each quater hour. I was able to play recordings or rhythm clock tunes.

  Cons

  When I removed the junk software that installed with Big Ben Chimes it resulted in instability of my operating system -- I had to restore a previous installation.

  Summary

  It anoys me to be tricked into installing junk software I don't want. As much as I otherwise like this product it has to go along with the junk that came with it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 7, 2011<p/>Never has any software provider responded so quickly to my complaint with a very satisfactory solution. They provided a link to download a clean copy of Big Ben Chimes. I am happy with this software! Five stars!

• Another excellent program from Aquarius

  Pros

  Wonderful full-sounding chimes, easy to set up and use (an Aquarius strongpoint), exactly what I was looking for after I tried two other programs. I also use Aquarius' Hotkey program and when I saw that they had a Big Bend Chime program, I knew it would be the one I wanted --- it was.

  Cons

  Why don't these folks design operating systems and word processing? Their design decisions show clarity of thought that makes their work outstanding.
