Huge problems with Safari 4.0.3

Getting constantly spinning beachballs when Java is accessed on certain pages. Have to force quit. A sad disappointment Apple because this only affects YOUR browser. Firefox and Opera working fine. You guys are so wrapped up with Snow Leopard and iPhone that you don't care about anyone else that uses your products.

Install this Java update Safari no longer goes anywhere. Crashed every time I attempted to go to any URL Tried everything including repair permissions, Disk Warrior, trashing Safari prefs In the end, I had to do a complete system re-install, omitting this latest Java update in Software Update. Everything now works ok again.

This says, that Apple does not support other Apple-architectures anymore: We cannot expect Java-developpers to downgrade for all the future to 1.5 for just one specific OS. Weâ??ll loose viable applications due to the lack of support from Apple. A remark to â??used for less than a month": Iâ??d like to use 1.6, but I cannot since it doesnâ??t exist for most of my machines. 1.5 works so far - but itâ??s not an excellent implementation, too.
