Intercept unauthorized access to your applications by one password.
AppDefender allows you to intercept unauthorized access to your applications. When somebody tries to use protected application, AppDefender asks a password. You can protect your mail, system preferences and any other application from your Mac. Also AppDefender informs you who and when try to launch applications. Work with it so simple and safely, you only should set and remember master password or use USB Flash Drive as personal key.
Good idea but doesn't always work with all programs.

Pros
Good idea for a program when it works.
Cons
Will not work for any application with a 2005 or older creation date. This created a problem for me because I purchased it to protect Quicken 2005. Quicken Essentials, the latest version, doesn't save transaction data so I cannot update.
I didn't found any minuses, but it would be good to add some types of notifications.
Summary
I think AppDefender looks like great security application. You can protect by it your favorite and system apps ( in my way - mail, terminal, system preferences). Price of AppDefender is good - only 14.95$. And support is great, sometimes guys from MacinApps replied me in an hour.
