A polished design strikes us as the high point of this otherwise average breakout remake. Anastasia Arkanoid offers the same formula as most games of this ilk, letting you bust brick formations and giving you an assortment of power-ups such as missiles. We do appreciate the program's well-done colorful graphics and backgrounds, the latter of which feature nature-based scenes such as volcanoes and jungles. Though you can adjust the sound effects, enable fade effects, and play with your mouse or your keyboard, you won't find such high-end features as a level editor. We would also prefer a longer trial period than an hour and a half. Still, breakout fans who appreciate pleasing aesthetics should take Anastasia Arkanoid for a spin.
