  I've been playing for a couple years and I haven't even begun to explore the whole thing... this game is huge, and you can play at so many different levels...

  Brilliant Game Design, So many features that most of the players have been online for 5+ years. Such an intense gameplay that you don't want to stop, I sometimes catch myself on for 3-4 hours at a time and I'm not much of a gamer. Great storyline, massive number of options and extremely customisable gameplay. World of Warcraft was an exact copy of this game except that it was heavily simplified, Anarchy is so much more complete. The only real difference is it is so much more complicated and set in the future, which can make it difficult to get the hang of at first but absolutely wonderful after the initial learning curve.

  Cons

  It can be a bit buggy at times but it is such an old game and has been updated and patched so much that this can't really be helped. It is very often updated, about once per week so most bugs are fixed quickly and new content is added very often. This game has the advantage of age, it doesn't have high system requirements, my laptop without a video card runs it at a higher resolution quite well. Just be sure that you either know someone who can help you out heaps in the beginning, or make some friends quickly.

  It's free, big, and one of the best looking games on this website. I have a junky graphics card and this ran smooth as a bell. It plays like an online version of a theme park that happens to let you level and RP as well. There's so much to see and do.

  Cons

  This file is twice as big as the one I got off of the official site (880 mb), and that one is much more recent (read: less patching). It has Shadowlands in it and everything, though the shadowlands access requires a monthly fee. There's also some in-game ads, to support the free, classic version.

• Anarchy Online- Showing it's age?

  Pros

  First let me say that Anarchy Online is a very indepth game...it is not a game you'll get bored with. The game is set in the future...with 3 factions ruling the planet (clan, omni and neutral). Anarchy Online does have a pretty good pvp and pvm balance. Anarchy Online is free...(download small client) but playing the free game means slower leveling opportunity.

  Cons

  Anarchy Online lacks creativity in many areas of the game. The graphics are pretty outdated. Alien Invasion as an expansion is a joke compared to Shadowlands (which rocks btw) But the original game of Anarchy Online is pretty old and it shows...it seems that Funcom spent so much time on expansions and forgetting about the game that started it all.

• Whether your paid or a 'fr00b' this game rocks

  I have had both paid and fr00b accounts with this game and if you go in a fr00b to begin with you will never know that you're missing a lot until you go paid. <p>Even as a fr00b (free client player), there is so much to do and accomplish for your faction versus most other games that have 'free clients' that limit you way much more than this game ever would. <p>The graphics are so much better in comparison to the previous used. <p>Most Orgs/Clans don't care if you are a Fr00b or not and are willing to help their members. <p>There is more issue with players being typical know it all so and so's, but the game in itself is as near to heaven if you love sci-fi themed games. <p>The community as a whole is very supportive and friendly. <p>There is always some that will help, despite any questions posed on ooc chat that get immediate flak. The nicer players will /tell you with the answer to your question I've found.

  Cons

  Regular downtime sucks in general in any game, but when issues pop up after and they again have to take servers offline it is very frustrating. <p>Stay out of OOC chat if you are easily riled as everyone tends to be a critic first and foremost. <p>Also recently, I've noticed a lot of people spamming with script, abusing already this addition to the game. <p>'Kiting' is becoming a major issue in the game currently and as always, same-faction ganking, ksing and ninja-looting are always issues with dishonorable players. <p>Some may consider this a pro more than a con, but the game is very addictive and hard to leave...for me personally, that is a con.

  Pros

  Constantly patched and updated with new content. Excellent customer support. FREE!!! If you have the expansions, the extra content is well worth the price, but even if you play only the free content, it's enough to keep you happy for many, many days!

  Cons

  Because it is slightly older than most other games, it has some graphics issues. Thankfully, Funcom is working on issues such as this, and with future patches and expansions, hopefully many of the problems will be fixed.
