Conversion using the Windows Audio Compression Manager can be carried out real-time or as a background task, supports wave audio conversion to or from any RIFF format such as WAV, MP3, GSM or ADPCM or any format for which an ACM Codec is installed.

amWave Pro supports volume and gain control, peak level meters, silence detection and deletion, enumeration of available audio devices, codec's and device capabilities.

amWave Pro is a lightweight C++ ATL control with no dependencies suitable for use in many development environments including VB, VC++ and all environments that support OCX ActiveX controls. amWave Pro streams audio directly to/from the hard disk so memory requirements are small.""
