amWave Pro supports volume and gain control, peak level meters, silence detection and deletion, enumeration of available audio devices, codec's and device capabilities.

amWave Pro is a lightweight C++ ATL control with no dependencies suitable for use in many development environments including VB, VC++ and all environments that support OCX ActiveX controls. amWave Pro streams audio directly to/from the hard disk so memory requirements are small.""

Cons
Waste of time even downloading. Let alone installing this piece of crud. The program never even registered all the components properly in order to run. <p> <p> <p>I should've taken the other's advice and not wasted my time. I suggest the same to you if you are reading this prior to downloading. <p> <p> <p>At least it didn't install any adware (that I'm aware of).
