Almyta Inventory Distributor (AID) software is an inventory, POS, and accounting package created with a small business in mind. This AID version comes with 30 day promotional license. This license will allow you to install the software on as many PCs as you need. The license will not allow you to link your PCs together to look into the same database. There is no limit on number of records, transaction, reports. In this software, you will find adjustable columns, user-configurable forms and reports, custom fields, hidden fields which you can unhide and use, built-in PDF converter, built-in security with user accounts, data encryption, barcoded inventory labels, MS Outlook support, Excel data exports, built-in data imports with format saving capability, multiple companies (businesses), invoicing with payments, purchase orders with payments, inventory and non-inventory items, sales orders, sales quotations, purchase orders, requests for quotations, customer and supplier returns, multiple contacts and ship to addresses, tracking number links to carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL), address linked to maps, customer part names, supplier part names, reports usage history tracking per user, favorite reports per user, configurable reports per user.

Inventory control module of AID supports all basic functions needed in everyday operations. You can manage your inventory with serial numbers, storage locations, production, and expiration dates. In addition, we added not so common functions such as printing the barcoded labels, customer returns with unique Return Authorization numbers, supplier returns. All inventory transactions are linked directly to the accounting module. You do not need to be a certified public accountant to use AID. In fact, you do not need to be an accountant at all. We simplified the accounting procedures to the extreme by giving you full control over your numbers.

Pros
It's just all there - I've used a lot of full accounting systems which include inventory and this is the easiest one of the lot. AND IT'S CHEAP.
Cons
Haven't found any yet but will let you know when I do.
Summary
It's a fantastic little package for all my businesses and I will be trying very hard to swing a few colleages over that I think will benefit from having this, instead of the more expensive versions their accountants are pushing.

I am selling stuff on Ebay. Buying from overseas and selling in the US. All my bookkeeping is here. I can change my books when I need it.Aften customers return the product and I can issue RMA and get it back then return to my suppliers or get a refund. It is important to me. I could not find this functionality anywhere! Thanks! Nice fee gadget!

Pros
Easy to install and use. I can create multiple companies for different businesses of mine. Unlike any other accounting software, I can change my numbers easily just when I need it. I have been using QB for years. I know for sure, I cannot change my numbers in QB after they have been posted. If I own my business, why I cannot change the numbers? So now I can easy do it. Another important thing to me is and ability to use expiration dates. I deal in perishables. I could not find it in QB either.
Cons
It would be nice to have inventory lists. It is like shopping lists. So I could quickly populate sales orders with related products.
Summary
I appreciate that sites like downloads.com exist. One month ago, I downloaded AID from here. I am using this software everydaay since then. There are no limits of any kind. Thanks CNET, Thanks Almyta!

I have left a similar feedback to another Almyta product as well. I find this software very useful and esasy to use.

Kitting would be nice to add.
