Looked good but required payment for update
cgmann2July 29, 2010
Pros
Interface looks good and appeared to have the features I was looking for.
Cons
Tried to use it on Windows 7 & it wouldn't play my dvd files even though it recognized they exist. Checked settings & the player showed I needed updates. When I clicked to download the updates, the player directed me to Paypal to pay for updates.
Summary
The interface looked great and I was excited but that was short-lived when I realized this "free" player I downloaded needed updates I had to pay for.
I can use it on my company netbook

Pros
Not any change in the registry
Cons
The normal, not portable version is better for me
