  The TRY version cant be tried as it starts and within 15 seconds closes down. I have not got the time or patience to be stuffed around with this and as a consequence will not buy it

  Very disappointed when i play the disc in my DVD player and it freezes at every chapter

  Pros

  Easy to use interface, good quality conversion, fast. I converted a 700Mb .AVI file and burned it to dvd in 38 minutes.

  Cons

  This "Try before you buy" is a joke. The program puts a HUGE watermark across the entire center of the screen, making the program completely useless unless you buy it.

  Summary

  Great overall program, but you might as well buy it straight away, otherwise useless.

  fast burn! great quality outcome. one step process. works well with vista. no failed movies after 15 movies. faster than nero.

  Cons

  conversion is a little slower than winavi, but, for me, the quality is worth the extra 1/2 hour of wait time, so 5 stars. no menu option for dvd.

  Pros

  PC/XP/512mbs <p>Demo makes blatent watermark but otherwise worked great/ <p>Interface very user friendly-easy to understand. <p>Based on the demo, I paid for the unlocked version and am happy with the results. I was looking for a way to convert avi(etc) music lesson clips to ntsc so I could play them on my dvd player and I got it with this app.

  Cons

  Conversion is slow on my machine (2+ hours for 800mbs at superb quality rate) <p>My machine exceeds the stated requirements but the conversion rate was just as slow after purchase as the demo. <p>I don't mind because I'm getting what I want but I think the 'fast conversion' claim is not warrented. <p>for once I actually wanted pop up tips to tell me what was different in the unlocked version but the help file actually helped. <p>Too many unexplained options for conversion - I had to load a dvd disk and check the format to be able to choose the right one. <p>I haven't had to contact support yet so '?'

  Pros

  I love this program. I needed a good quality converter to convert my many avi movies to DVD, and this one works fantastic, and FAST. I converted a 700MB avi file to DVD in 41 minutes, and the output was excellent - no difference frorm the avi. <p> <p>I used to use WinAVI, but it doesn't put out good quality on my new Vista pc. Also, WinAVI was about 10 minutes longer in converting a 700MB file. WinAVI didn't have a burner either, like Allok does. <p> <p>I'd recommend this anytime.

  Pros

  1. I've been using this program for a year without any problems.<p>2. It's VERY easy to use.<p>3. The output quality is pretty darn good (9/10) in all but a few cases (I convert about 10 .avis a week)<p>4. Consistent quality/appearance.

  Cons

  1. It ain't too fancy / very few options (not that you'd really need 'em)<p>2. While converting do NOTHING else, as this baby uses 100% CPU.<p>3. In the last year I've only received 2 errors, but they were at the END of a 2hr session, and I was kind of annoyed by the wait.<p>4. It is NOT very fast at all.

• Easiest way for adding subtitles on Dvix movies

  Pros

  Very easy control, I can easiely add subtitles when burning Dvix movies on a DVD.

  Cons

  When playing burnt DVDs, the subtitle can not be disabled. You have to see that subtitle on the screen. <p>After you push the "Start" button, there is no way turning back! You can not stop the converting process, only by clicking "Control+Alt+Del"!!!
