The locking process is so fast " less that 1 sec " and all data will be secured even if you check the show hidden files on your system. You can protect any number of folders by different passwords. The program has integrated context menu, so you can easily lock or unlock any folder by right click it. The program is easy to use and has a friendly user interface.

Quick and easy to install and use

Pros
Protect individual folders - with different passwords if you like. You can add "lock/unlock" to the windows menu when you right click a folder When you install, it installs clean - it doesn't try to trick you into installing other programs you don't want.
Cons
Folders are not self-unlockable - the app does need to be installed on any computer where you will use the folders. If you are protecting folders on a flash drive then be sure to copy the installation file AlphaFolderLock.exe onto the flash drive also, so you can install it on any computer you plug into. If you have computers with different operating systems then maybe you will need different versions of the app, but I'm not sure about that.
