• Basic Organization with No Frills

  There are so many bookmark organizers out there and there is no way other than trial and error to find which one is best. Even though this piece of software dosen't have all the bells and whistles, I kept developing some kind of attraction for it. In fact, do I need all those pretty pictures to tell me what site I want to visit. This software is everything I need. You can even bookmark programs to run from here. (the others can't do that) You will like it.....simple but nice.

  No screenshots and no way for it to start up in the start menu.

  Pros

  I actually liked the way the program worked for me, but I needed a program that I could easily teach a less-computer-literate person to use. This program does not fit that requirement. Other than that, I recommend this program.

  Cons

  Nice for a person who can intuitively "feel" their way through a program (help file is lacking a bit), but the program is confusing to some, even though the interface 'seems' simple enough.

  Of all the eighty six programs I have installed in my computer there isn't one that I find more valuble and use more consistently then my Alert bookmarks program. In fact I use this program so much that I can not envision being without it. To see this software program with only one review, and a bad one at that, is an egregious wrong for this is a stellar product of its genre. As someone who has well over 6,500 bookmarks and have used this program extensively over the past several years I can personally attest to its greatness. No other bookmark program I have seen has the feature set and ease of use that Alert Bookmarks does. Its power (100,000 book marks) and the unobtrusive way the program presents those bookmarks make it a pleasure to use. If you are in the market for a bookmark program a step up from what is offered in web browsers you would be well advised to take a hard look at Alert Bookmarks......it is simply excellent!
