Editors’ Review
All shooting, no strategy, AirStrike 3D: Operation W.A.T. makes for an extremely entertaining game, though the trial version restricts access to the majority of the levels.
A great tutorial comes in the first round of play, and the controls are a cinch to master. The game's unique, three-quarters view and killer 3D graphics are a refreshing take on the shooter genre. The fast-paced action is the game's best quality, although we also appreciated the healthy feature set. Get enough power-ups and you'll be annihilating everything in sight, including planes, trains, tanks, and towers. Nag screens promoting the full version get a bit frustrating since they appear between every round.
Also, the demo only lets you play three levels, which are fairly easy to finish. Nevertheless, AirStrike 3D: Operation W.A.T.'s excellent graphics, realistic sound effects, and fun gameplay make the limited levels worth playing more than once.
