• Good 1st impression

  Pros

  1.Not that complicated, and didnt requre my input much to setup 2.quietly does its work, without lagging the PC, even when a scan has been initiated 3.seems to be doing a good job 4.Good PC optimization, not sure how good it is for a commecial software(I have only encountered one with optimization, that is Bull Gaurd, and it did a similar if not better job than this)

  Cons

  1.Slows down the PC slightly, I'm refering to startup and shutdown times, but some similar less known products can be worse; this is faster than CA Total Defence though 2.Not quite sure how well it protects the PC, didnt have Malwarebytes pick up anything yet, but its too quick to say anything, although some independent tests are negative

  Summary

  Give it a try. Set a restore point if some of the reviews below scares you, tust me I didnt need to use it, atlest not yet.

• Avoid AhnLab like the plague

  Pros

  1) So bad that I made an account just to warn everyone. 2) I'll probably laugh at this a week from now, because this plague infected some other person's computer.

  Cons

  1) Will cause your whole computer to lag horribly. (95% CPU Usage at all times) 2) Common Example: mouse lag and frozen videos 24/7. 3) Will break your computer when you uninstall it. (Seriously) 4) I doubt that this is a helpful program.

  Summary

  Whatever this thing is supposed to protect you from, it doesn't even need to. You know why? AhnLab acts like a virus: slows down computer to a sluggish crawl, blocks the use of system tools (like Disk Cleanup), you have no way to shut it off (an idiot-proofing method in legitimate antivirus programs, but a prison in this one) oh and did I mention that it breaks your computer when you uninstall it? I'm serious, my roommate's PC won't even run now. Yes he was the one who ended up with this crap, long story. I also notice that 5 shills (or maybe the creators) visited this page and gave it a 5. I also notice 2 other sad victims to this malicious program. A week from now, I am going to laugh and laugh at my idiotic roommate. (My asshole roommate had been using my computer for weeks now, it was hell.) Bottom line, stay away from this crap. If you were stupid enough to get this in the first place, you deserve what you get. Don't say I didn't warn you though.

• I Am Not Enthusiastic About It

  Uninstallable completely after reboot, especially AhnLab folder

  Cons

  Slows down your computer. Crashes Windows 98SE often. Gives error when I chose not repairing a possible thread. Most text in half letters.

  Summary

  I am glad that AhnLab V3 Internet Security 2007 Platinum is not on the computer. It is the only positive thing about AhnLab V3IS2007, although I am still afraid that it had done something bad I now don't know.

  As result after using for several months, it is recognized V3 Internet security 2007 conducts real time protection against various malicious codes and prevents personal data leakage showing efficient resource management via system optimization. Most of all, its engine is very light fitting for PC circumstance and update speed is remarkably fast, as well as it is assumed its manufacturer owns accumulated signature and patterns to pre-prevent incident virus, worm and malicious codes.
