AFA Sant Andreu Badalona for Android

AFA Sant Andreu Badalona, developed by Crea Redes Developers S.L.U., is a mobile communication tool that connects the Families' Association with parents of Col·legi Sant Andreu students. The app functions as a centralized bulletin for association news, using instant push notifications and a stored notification history to alert families about events and updates. It targets mothers, fathers, and legal guardians who need a single channel to follow association announcements and reduce reliance on paper notices.

How does document access support parental involvement?

The app provides direct access to school-related documents and images so families can consult policies, event flyers, and administrative notices on their phones. Support for viewing and downloading PDFs and images means parents can archive or forward files for reference, which helps when administrators or teachers distribute schedules or permission slips digitally. The news section hosts those materials alongside announcements, giving caregivers a place to retrieve paperwork without returning to the school.

Can families invite others and expand participation?

Built-in sharing functionality lets existing users recommend the tool to other parents, simplifying community uptake for the association. That sharing feature reduces the friction of onboarding additional guardians who need the same information, and it helps the Families' Association reach a broader group without separate mailing lists. For family networks where multiple caregivers need access, the sharing option supports distribution beyond the initial contact list.

Is the app technically reachable for the school's families?

The app is available for Android devices and requires an active internet connection to receive updates and new content. Those technical constraints mean families must have a compatible smartphone and network access to get instant alerts and download files. For households with routine online access, the delivery model provides continuous updates; for offline households, the app's dependence on connectivity is a practical consideration when choosing how to follow association communications.

Who developed the app and how established is the maker?

The developer is a Spanish firm based in Benetússer, Valencia, that focuses on digital tools for associations and schools and has created more than 200 custom mobile applications. That background signals experience in building specialist communication solutions for educational communities. Local deployment and developer specialization suggest the app's workflows match association needs rather than a generic noticeboard approach.

A practical, community-focused option with a limited scope

The app is a practical option for parents who want a dedicated channel to follow their school's Families' Association and reduce reliance on printed notes; its single-school focus constrains usefulness outside that community. As a targeted communication tool it supports family engagement around association activities, though caregivers should weigh device and connectivity requirements against alternative channels used by the school.
