Create your own text adventures.

ADRIFT Generator/Runner is a two-part application to allow you to create and play Text Adventures in Windows. Adventures are built up by adding rooms, objects, tasks, events, and characters. All you have to do is type in the descriptions, then select how it all interacts from pull down menus and lists.

ADRIFT Runner is the application that takes the files created with Generator and interprets them as an adventure. Runner attempts to recreate the traditional adventure environment as introduced to computers when adventures first came out, but it also supplies a real-time map, optional control panel (to use the mouse instead of keys), general point-n-click, color customizing, automatic text completion, and high score table.

Amazing, easy to use!

Pros
Its really easy to use. You don't need to know a thing about programming! All the menus are in clear English. It only took me 5 minutes to create a full text adventure, as opposed to a 'normal' text adventure maker which would take days. The easy-to-use interface means you can add more things in without worrying over codes and stuff like that.
Cons
The free download is limited to a certain amount of rooms/objects/tasks/events/characters. However, you can still make a pretty long game.

This really does make making your own games possible!

Pros
It's really easy to use, cos everything is there in front of you in the menus n stuff. I didn't need to do any programming, and had a game working in minutes! Definitely recommend this one!
