>Screen times out constantly >Touching the arrow keys to scroll up or down moves you to the very bottom/top every time >Touch the scroll bar does the same >Using scroll keys does the same >In other words, ever single page you're going to have to scroll back to where you started as soon as you have to move the viewing section, assuming it's timed out which occurs after 15sec.

Pros
Simple, well organized, user interface. The library helps keep your epub files neat and easy to find and use. I just think it's the perfect program. No nonsense. No confusion. Just straight-forward and easy to use.
Cons
Doesn't read PDFs, which I was fully aware of upon installation. No matter, I use Nuance to read my PDFs. Non much to say as far as the cons.
Summary
I highly suggest this program if you need a program to read epub files. It organizes your library and has a minimal, but essential, user interface. Try it out.

its pretty bad, slow, nazi drm, slow, it has trouble flipping pages on a 200 pp university manual on a quad core 4ghz+ system. awesome. make sure you own a super computer and many many vats of patience.

Sometimes you can actually read and move to another page - amazing!!!

Complete garbage ware. Either this was developed by chimpanzees, or they purposely set out to design the world's worst e-reader software.
Summary
It's so bad, you should actually consider not buying or reading a particular book if it's available only in Adobe Digital Editions.

Version 1.7 was OK, not the greatest, not user friendly, difficult to use initially, but it shines when compared to version 2.0. This latest version offers nothing to recommend it. Never opened an ascm file for me: error messages say my device is 'not registered' (when I've been using it with v1.7 for about 2 years) or there is a missing or corrupt file, when my procedure was the same as it had been with the earlier version. Always some reason why it is unable to do the job it was supposed to do. Atotal waste.

If you have multiple users on the same computer, ADE will not recognize plugged in eBook readers; eBook bookshelves disappear. (no permutation of plugging and restarting the program fixes this.)

I like the new theme. For epub there is good flipping of the 'view' pages.
Cons
Even the manual is in epub and not pdf. Shame adobe!! Even the C-Net screen view is out of date
