• They got my money and now give me no support

  Pros

  It worked great until I had to restore my computer to factory settings.

  Cons

  Restored my computer to factory settings and reloaded Ad Notifier. Ad Notifier rejects the supplied registration code. I know I entered it correctly as I did a copy-n-paste from the registration e-mail. My e-mails requesting help are ignored.

  Summary

  When it worked, it worked great; but, when it failed, it became as worthless as the nonexistent tech support.

  Pros

  Will search craiglist for ads that meet the criteria you are able to put in.

  Cons

  Some categories like Appliances are missing. Lot of false positives. Display format is confusing.

  Summary

  No support, no updates, poor formating of results, not all categories represented, negative keyword section does not work. Apparently the author has abandoned the program. Don't buy. Much better programs out there with programmers interested in perfecting their product.

  Pros

  When it worked, it was a real time-saver.

  Cons

  With the latest update on craigslist itself, completed several months ago now, Ad Notifier no longer works for many countries/cities that it advertises it does - only some of them.

  Summary

  NO customer support - they say they respond within 24 hours but I've been trying to contact them for more than 2 months and have not gotten a single reply. AVOID THIS PRODUCT or you will be throwing your money away. It may work for you today, just as it used to work for me (in Canada), but as craigslist changes they way it categorizes items, this company does NOT stay on top of it so the software ends up trying to search invalid URLs. Garbage.
