Using more than one monitor on Win10? Please try this!

Cons
Expensive - but check out the deal lurking in there.
Summary
I've been addicted to multiple monitors since 2011 and cannot understand how I got along without them before. I now use a laptop and two external monitors on which most of my real work is done. I was using a free download to manage these two external monitors, but that tool was not fully compatible with Win 10. I tried Actual Multiple Monitors on a 30 day trial and love it... it simplifies the process of extending your display out to more than one monitor and works well. I also tried out the 'Desktop Divider' feature that lets you carve one monitor into multiple virtual monitors, just about anyway you want to and it works great.
Actual Multiple Monitors is not cheap - it's about $30, but is worth all that. But wait - there's more. You can purchase - for the same price - a complete suite of handy tools in a package called Actual Window Manager - including Actual Multiple Monitors. This adds a number of cool programs. Some are more valuable to me than others... one lets you automatically roll a non-active window up to just the title bar when you move to another application. One places a small tool at the top of file manager windows which lets you quickly - one click - move to a favorite folder on your system. Another lets you set up multiple desktops so that you can easily move from "All Work" to "All Fun" whenever you want.
I've only just started diving into all the added features of Actual Window Manager, but love what I have tried so far.
Didn't properly support profiles for 3 monitors.
Pros
Added a task bar and supports multiple wallpapers.
Cons
Switching profiles between 3 monitors didn't actually work.
Requires an installation and kind of eats up more of my RAM than I would want.
$25 is definitely not worth it.
Summary
I ended up just getting a free program called MonitorSwitcher which is really light and does the job easily.
Good multi monitor software and improving
John vb
Pros
Makes easier to work in a multi-monitor environment.
Compatible with Windows 8 or 8.1
It is updated frequently. Last version is 8.2.
It is packed with functions, I use every day the hotkeys to move the mouse quickly between monitors. I configured the task bar to show the same on every window (including start menu). By default the mouse movement stops a little while when you reach the edge of the monitor to prevent it to go to the next monitor too easily.
It is possible to disable load at startup through the configuration window (accessible through a different icon). This way you can load the application only if you need it. For example when you connect the laptop to the monitors in the office. You can stop or unload Multiple Monitors when you leave without shutting down the laptop avoiding to consume system resources.
Cons
The configuration window has so many functions and customizing capabilities for all people needs that it is difficult to find at the beginning what you need. I would like some sort of simplified menu or wizard with the most common functions organized in categories and everything else grouped in these categories.
Issues I found with the "Modern" Windows 8 UI: When using the task switcher (alt + tab) the mail window from modern UI stills gets duplicated. When moving the mouse to the main screen using the hot key combination, it stills change to desktop when viewing an application in the Modern UI mode (for example the new IE)
Summary
This software is worth to have if you work with multiple monitors, especially if it is three or more where it is very cumbersome to move between the entire work space with the limited tools provided by Windows.
Upgrades you past your license then re-enables nagware
Zwii
Pros
It works when it doesn't nag you.
Cons
Somehow the program updated me beyond the version I presumably paid for and got a license for, prompting the program to go BACK into nagware/trial mode, even after I had paid for it! This happened 4 months after I paid for it. Then when I try to downgrade, there's no link for the version my license is supposedly for. Clearly, they want you to forget you paid and upgrade.
Summary
Scammy.
Works well for me
evstar_deluxe
Pros
Allows me to disconnect my laptop from my second monitor without any issue.
Cons
Setup & Interface isn't intuitive for customising.
Summary
A lot better than the other multi-monitor programs I have used, as they would bug out when I removed the second monitor from my laptop.
Cool features but makes my system unstable.
demalpica
Pros

Cons
instability and lag in windows explorer
Summary
I like this product it has very many useful features for me on a dual screen set-up.. However I've experinced quite a bit of instability and lag in windows explorer since I installed it. I kill it and things go back to normal. Using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
