Get a video surveillance platform with recording, monitoring, and face recognition.
The program has been created as universal program for surveillance hybrid platforms running all together with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar form and controls on the local and distant workstations. Users see MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the software using net that security computer can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition significantly improves reliability because all units proceed as autonomous programs. If one component freezes, other units continue running. For instance if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` part. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant server using Web interface. The software makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
