With decent video edit it would knock out camtasia, vegas and all other recording/editing tools. Price is good and my son uses it for games. He saz should go with 5 stars my taking half off for missing editor.

Pros
For a long time, i've been using Fraps, but since it's dead, i'm using Mirillis Action! which looks much better and more fresh. It's very solid screen recorder for pc games with minimal performance impact. The most important thing is that Mirillis all the time developing Action! adding a lot of necessary and cool features. Tech support is very helpful. Really useful software for game recordings, recommended to all amateur and professional gamers.

unfortunately paid, but worth its price :)

Action! is the best recording software i've ever used. You can download new 2.0.4 version from official website of the company. I have no idea why there are no latest updates here. Action is really awesome. New version has many useful features like webcam with greenscreen recording, lifestreaming to facebook, desktop recording with HUD that informs the user about the current status of the recording and it is not included in the recording file (I think that no other recording software on the planet has this feature).

There where some but since version 2.0 almost all were fixed.

From what I have seen Cool tool called Action! by Mirillis is one of the most powerfull recording tools available on the market. Its the best software i would say, to record any specific videos or capture HD images. Well Action! is definitely something special, the features it has makes it a well rounded program, the utilization of Intel CPU features and nVidia CUDA Cores gives it that extra bit of power which puts it ahead of other recording software. I highly recommend this program and it's a joy to use, your inspiration is never blocked with this program as everything is so easy and of a high quality it leaves you feeling satisfied that you have done a good job.
Cons
the uploading to YouTube function needs to be a touch more obvious, currently it's a drop-down menu within the exporting feature it took me a short while to find it.
