  Pros

  Converted 24 standard books from LRF to PDF in 5 mins. Can convert a whole batch at once. The "ABC Amber Converter" stamp (mentioned in above review) can be removed via settings. Allows authors and copyrights to be set via settings. Allows read/write protection in settings.

  Cons

  *SEEMS* to crash during operation, but if you leave it, it will do the job, and fairly quickly too. The GUI is a bit unpolished.

  Summary

  For freeware, it's decent. It does what it's supposed to and has plenty of options for the casual user. Only complaints are the pseudo-crash and the poor looking graphical user interface. I'm satisfied! Hope this helps.

  Pros

  This program does eventually convert .lrf files to a number of formats; most successfully to PDF (i.e. least number of weird extra characters strewn throughout). (it may SEEM frozen, but it's just busy!)

  Cons

  very annoyingly, puts "ABC Amber Converter" and a link to their website at the top of EVERY @&^$@ING PAGE!!!

  Summary

  It's a free program, what do you expect?

  The program will freeze in the middle of the conversion process

  Don't waste your time downloading and installing this program, just to uninstall and Trend Micro anti-virus found a malware on top of that!!!
