• Simple and light

  Pros

  I like it very much. No malware, light, totally light, no annoying extra installers and it is PORTABLE. It plays well with RMVB files.

  Cons

  If you just need a simple player to play files, then you have it. Don't expect too much from a light, portable and simple player.

  Summary

  I recommend this for playing files only

  Pros

  Of course free might be a pro, if this doesn't turn out to be a piece of spyware. This worked with a random .avi I tried and the sound was pretty good. Claims to offer support for many filetypes and could be useful for certain uses.

  Cons

  The interface is not intuitive. It is intrusive and the almost standardized shortcuts like double-click for full screen were not employed. Drag and drop didn't seem to work, but I only tried with one .rm. Using filepath there wasn't .rm support.

  Summary

  I gave it an extra star because I didn't really play around with this software. Right from the start it didn't function as I needed, not allowing playback of .rm. After successful attempts with other filetypes I found the controls to be non-intuitive where spacebar didn't play/pause and doubleclicking didn't change the screen size. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and assuming that there are keyboard shortcuts for everything, but after a short tinkering I knew I didn't want to find them. This is just nitpicking really, but now I will try to find another .rm player.

  Pros

  most tyms wat we want is a simple player to give us just the ability to play flv, 3gp and stuffs. now this does that. just downloaded it and used once and i'm loving it. |play| |pause| |stop| only. no mre.

  Cons

  NUTIN NUTIN. just ma fisrt use though. i dont think anything would be rong with it. coz it's too simple for them to have made a mistake.

  Summary

  JUST DOWNLOAD IT. and CNET should make this known. it's just worth sharing.
