Editors' Review

ZipGenius Standard Edition allows you to extract files from compressed files and create your own ZIP files. The software is quite straightforward to use but doesn't appear to have been updated in some time.

Pros

Big, colorful icons: ZipGenius Standard Edition features big, colorful icons that are easy to read and which make navigating through the various functions of the software a snap.

Clear operational interface: The software walks you through every step of your operation.

Good help feature: Help is clear and addresses most of the questions that you might have.

Cons

2011 date mark: ZipGenius Standard Edition is marked with a 2011 date stamp. If the software is still active, designers should remove that year.

Bottom Line

If you've never used ZIP software before, this one is worth trying because of how well it guides you through the process. It's the perfect introduction to extracting and compressing files.
