As the developer promises, ZSoft Uninstaller is indeed far superior to the native Windows program uninstaller. The freeware first runs the unwanted program's original uninstall option before cleaning up with its own technology. But for a more thorough uninstall, ZSoft Uninstaller offers an analyze function that you can use during the initial installation of programs to track exactly which files are being added to your system.

Later, when you want to uninstall a program, you can click the Analyzed Programs tab and rest assured that when you uninstall the program every associated file will be included. The search box for finding specific programs and the capability to get rid of temporary files are nice additions to this free program.

ZSoft Uninstaller works well, although it's not as robust as some other free uninstallers out there. Even though it may not have all the chrome of the competition, when it comes to getting its core task done--uninstalling unwanted apps--ZSoft Uninstaller is a good choice.

It replaces Wins uninstaller. When installing new software it will analyze during the installation of software so when you are going to uninstall the analyzed software it will remove it completely. It will scan for leftovers also. It has embedded a Start-up Manager also. Leaves registry files behind...
Cons
Hasn't been updated since November 2010... Keep in mind that analyzed software when uninstalling can commit errors and remove associated files and that is a NO NO... so watch-out when uninstalling. Not really fast like the others ...
Summary
It is a good tool but i personally don't find it something to get excited... I use IObit Uninstaller V3 and Geek Uninstaller which both do a much better job and do a better clean uninstall..... but it is a good tool, don't get me wrong.....

I am one who typically "plays" with a lot of trial ware. Subsequently, I end up with a lot of left over crap on my PC and in my registry. I am careful to back things up so that when it get's too messy I simply wipe my hard drive clean with a low level format and re-install windows. I think I have found something that will save me from ever having to do that again!! This program has absolutely DESTROYED some very stubborn Bull Crap that I just could not get off my computer! It's free ware, but I am SO pleased with it, I actually want to pay them something! WOW!

the only con is that I didn't find this app years ago, seriously! It is the BEST!

I like to try out new freeware. Uinstaller allows me to uninstall anything that I find not useful. I use it on all computers I work on.

It seems to get the buried files. It is quicker than Revo, but I'm not sure it's any better.

After downloading this software I checked it on line at Virus Total. One of the scanners ' McAfee-GW-Edition. Found :- Heuristic. Behaves like Win 32. Suspicious.K. which is a virus. It would be interesting to know if others have found this?

When analyzing the system before an installation the application seems to load the entire analysis into memory. As the analysis ran it slowed down more and more the longer it ran. It ran for about an hour and consumed about 2GB of RAM. I let it run overnight, but by then it was running so slowly (presumably trying to manage the enormous list it built) that it didn't end up making much more progress. I finally killed the process after it had run for about 12 hours (on a new Q8200 processor, not slow). It looks like a good product and the other reviews are pretty good, but i think it needs some improved data management to handle the amount of data it needs to analyze on a Vista system.
Works great and FREE what else can you ask for?

ZSoft Uninstaller is the better and easier way to uninstall programs on your computer.ZSoft Uninstaller can be used as a Add/Remove applet replacement, but not only that, it can also e.g. analyze an installation so it can be completely uninstalled (also supports reboots of the computer as the process is split into two: Before and after the installation), find uninstall-leftovers, cleanup in the programs starting with your computer at startup, find and delete temporary files, find and delete empty folders, delete entry's from programs that is no longer installed, hide Windows Updates, hide entries from the list that you are never going to uninstall (drivers etc.) making the list smaller and therefore easier to manage, show more information than available though add/remove, automatically find entry's from programs that are most likely already uninstalled, automatically find entry's that are considered "crap-ware" & (off course) search the list of installed software.
