Used WebAllow for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This application does a great job of blocking every URL you don't approve, but its functions don't allow for individual user accounts. WebAllow has an orderly interface, with toolbar buttons to easily add and remove URLs from the approved sites list and to password-protect the program. We do like that you can create and save an approved list to grab whenever you're ready to enlist the program's blockades. The application worked perfectly, halting access even to our home page with a no access sign and a message in the title bar.
WebAllow can't specify individual accounts, so you'll have to apply and remove blocks each time you turn over the Web surfing to your child or someone else. The program isn't as secure as we'd like, either, and it can be removed from the Add/Remove programs window. With some decent page blocks, you'll only want to use this free application for small kids who haven't learned the ins and outs of Windows just yet.
