  Pros

  I use my digital camera every day on the job. I have to take pictures of buildings for our records. Sometimes, because of tight quarters, I overlap the pics, and use "Cool 360" to splice them together. It works great!

  If you don't overlap enough of the buildings in the pics you will get some minor warping.

  Creates good wide angle images from a few photos, Does a fairly decent job of 360 degree circular panoramas, too.

  I had this program years ago when I first purchased a Nisis QP2 camera (0.3megapixels), it came free with the software for the camera. I made quite a few 360 panoramas that turned out quite well. It's very old software, I'm talking at least 12 years old, so for that age, it's pretty good. The GUI is good, now they need to make the program functionality better. I wouldn't want to pay anywhere near the price they're asking for it in it's present condition, tho'. I think it should be free for this version.

  Not Compatible with VISTA. I downloaded the trial version and a message came up that the help menu would not work with Vista, and neither would the program. Also there is no way of contacting the company, when you click on the "contact" link it takes you to faq. What a hassle.

  Won't load large picture files (e.g. 15mb.) Requires 15 degrees of overlap! How do you gauge this when taking photos except by wasting loads of film or taking ages with a digital camera?
