  I downloaded this - the instructions weren't very clear. After I downloaded this I wasn't able to get my computer out of safe mode. The adapter was conflicting with the other version of Trident. So I removed the other version & then this adapter was confliction with the BIOS & motherboard. After 3 days of working on the computer I had to take it into a shop who had to totally erase my programs & reinstall. So thanks to this download I'm out $115 & my computer is still not operating properly.

  If you have a VIA MVP4 chipset, this driver is not for you. Here is a link to the correct driver file for your video card: ftp://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/video/KPLE_WinME_3124_logod.zip If you don't know if your video card is of the 9880 chipset or of the MVP4 chipset, right-click my computer, click on properties, click on the device manager tab, click on the small + symbol next to system devices, and look for a device that has the following text: VIA Tech VT501 CPU to PCI bridge If you have this system device, download the drivers from the link above.
