To enter the contest you must first prove yourself at your local fishing hole, by catching 5 citation fish and building the skills needed to compete with the "Big Dogs". With 8 different species of fish including bass, catfish, walleye, crappie, dozens of lures and bait, customizable poles, marinas, lodges, weather, time and fuel management, tournaments, and tasks.

Best fishing game I have played - Very enjoyable!!!

Pros
Great gameplay ideas... contests, tasks, and tournaments make it always fun and easy to find something to do. The lake fishing is cool and I like the small details like finding bait and such, makes it even more fun.
Cons
Graphics are a little dated (but still decent and fun) Only two lakes to fish at right now.
Summary
I play for a couple hours each night, earning more money and getting new stuff. It's just a great and enjoyable game with many features I love. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. Great game guys, keep up the good work! (PS I played for only 1 hour before deciding to purchase, instant download is nice!!!)
