  cant afford to buy it as not very attractive...cant see the status when sending any mail,how can i know mail has gone or not

  Pros

  Great user interface, extreme ease of use, advanced editing tools - and, above all: it works perfectly. The new version is a solid update of all the good old features; in particular, the "crop and replace" tool for images is absolutely stunning.

  Cons

  Of course, like all free versions, it implies some restrictions (a list of up to 200 contacts). But that's all. The rest is free forever, and it's great.

  Summary

  If you're an email marketer (especially if you handle small lists), I cannot but strongly recommend SendBlaster. It really streamlines your job.

  I checked both send blaster and AB Bulk Mailer, later us best and allows to send half a million of mails per day

• Customer Service Is Poor

  Pros

  Demo works like a "charm." Pro version is problematic at best.

  Cons

  Customer service is extremely poor. Email ticket system with response times exceeding 4 hours. No knowledge base assistance. No telephone assistance readily apparent.

  Summary

  If the Pro version worked as straight forward as Demo the current Support model would be sufficient. Given that the Pro version is paid for one would think the the Support model would be much more responsive assuming that the purchaser planned to implement the software immediately upon upgrade. I may request cancellation of the purchase and a return of my payment if Support has not responded by the end of today's business 07/25/13.

  Pros

  Nice enough software - but the benefits do not justify the costs!

  Cons

  The free version comes with so many restrictions that it is pretty clear the programmers want you to buy the full version. Better use shareware to test a program - this is not the way. Tried contacting the support - no reply. All in all a very unsatisfying experience.

  Pros

  I find SendBlaster an excellent software for email marketing. It comes with a nice interface, very intuitive, which helps you to set and send a newsletter in a few clicks: and most of all, it's effective. It works easy and fast. Of course, if your email doesn't comply with the best practices or you send unsolicited messages, you can end up in the junk folder with ANY kind of program or service... Personally, I had no problems at all. Moreover, SendBlaster offers a good spam checker that helps you understand if you're doing well or making some typical mistakes. The Free Version is enough if you're handling a very small quantity of accounts, but for more advanced campaigns I'd definitely suggest to download the Pro Version.

  Cons

  I agree with welivetogive's review: a wider choice of templates would make me even happier!

  Summary

  I'm completely satisfied with SendBlaster and I would recommend it to any professional marketer.

• Buggy software, very restrictive

  Pros

  - Easy to set up - Easy template creation

  Cons

  - Very restrictive when it comes to creation of recipient lists: Two lilsts with 100 addresses are really not enough (other freeware allows around 500 addresses, that's a number you can work with) - It took forever to import MS Outlook contacts (good luck trying to get it to work with basic computer skills) - Around three in five test e-mails wound up as spam (not as bad as in countrybummken's case, but far from ideal) - Requires your name and address and nags a lot

  Summary

  I used Sendblaster while on the search for a new serial mailer, but this was definitely not the way to go. There were far too many problems and nags for me to even consider buying the full version.

• It's working GREAT for me !

  Pros

  After reading the "Buggiest ever" review above by "cvpsmith", I wondered if I had made a big mistake BUYING this program after having only tried the "Free" version for only a day. But I'm much more please after having tried this program for a week, sending out near 800 emails and finding that this software is unusually GOOD! I found MUCH of it easy to understand and use, and once a got over a few hurdles, things worked just as promised.

  Cons

  Getting over he hurdle I mentioned needn't be as hard as I found it As as a 30 user if computer programs and a developer of some software myself, I believe SB's tech. support needs improvement, (which is why I give this program 4 stars).

  Summary

  If they make the improvements to their documentation that I am going to send them, future users will get great results even faster and easier than I did.

• Not very reliable

  Pros

  Easy to set up. Easy to compose and create a new template. SMTP was easy to set up.

  Cons

  Only allowed to create 2 lists of 100 subscribers. Huge problem I had, no matter how I sent, my emails were/are still winding up in spam.

  Summary

  I would have rated 4-5 stars had my email messages not wound up in spam. I tried to send SMTP and direct and both times my messages wound up in spam. My marketing emails are not spam nor do I send it.

• Excellent for serious email marketing

  Pros

  It comes with a very good opens/clicks tracking system, which is also free; I'm not aware of any other desktop tool offering anything close to this. The software has many more pluses, but the click monitoring system alone deserves the maximum rating - a must have for serious campaigns (needed for segmentation, A/B testing etc).

  Cons

  Templates could be better (it has many but most of them share similar layouts). Not many plugins as one would expect.

  Summary

  As a web marketing specialist I would totally recommend this product; it stands out of the crowd in terms of features and usability.
