Thank you for making this freeware and for developing a utility that could benefit others with certain types of visual impairment. As for plaintiger, I don't believe your review is relevant (nor appropriate) in the least. If you'll carefully read the Product Description, you'll quickly note that this utility was developed for a certain demographic. Therefore, your comments about the utility being "very distracting for graphics work" should not apply...nor should your two-star rating.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />interesting utility, but i'm surprised that it spans the whole screen and there's no way to make it smaller. i'd think that would prove very distracting for graphics work (but i don't intend to use it long enough find out). i'd also like to suggest the addition of a pref to make the crosshairs disappear when the cursor does (the horizontal crosshair is smack in the middle of - well, that last line i was writing, like a strikeout). but then i suppose that would make it less useful for locating the cursor when you've just returned to your machine after a break. <p>yes...i find that the longer i have this running the more distracting and annoying it gets.</p> <p>*quits Screen Crosshair*</p> <p>aaahhh...*that's* better.</p> <p>i know i've seen a utility on VT that puts a small crosshair around the cursor...gonna have to search for that. thanks for trying, though...i'm sure it will serve some people's purposes well.</p>

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />hello all...i just wanted to reiterate here as to how awesome i find this small utility...i can't do without it!!!...it certainly takes off some strain off your eyes, for sure and makes it hi-tech and it gives a feel of the crosshair on a rifle scope!!!!!!!!...how about making the center look like the crosshair on a rifle scope for an additional feature?...gamers would appreciate it, for sure!...thanks a bunch for such a decent utility... mkk

I'd like it to point at the center of the cursor instead of the tip though.... it just looks a little out of whack somehow, and the ability to customize the color of the lines would be cool! It is a software I have written for a user who has a visual impairment that reduces his visual field to about 5 degrees. It enables him to find the mouse cursor more quickly. It might be useful for notebook users, too.
