• The 2.20 archive appears to be corrupted

  The SciTE 2.20 archive is corrupted. I get an error when opening it with WinRAR (but it does open), and an error when trying to open it with WinZip (and it doesn't open). The SciTE 2.20 zip file from here is different in size from the SciTE 2.20 zip file from the publishers site.

• Text file editing like a wordprocessor, many options.

  Very customable, wide coverage of several programming languages pluse usefull wordprocessing features.

  Cons

  Overloaded on options, seems to be a bit "junky" with so many options and features. All features work flawlessly, but could use some better help style text and tuturials.

  SciTE is my text editor of choice - but this is not an end user version

  Cons

  I can't use the 'raw' software which still needs to be compiled (which this is) - apart from anything else I don't have, nor want, the compiler.

  Summary

  C/NET should not be distributing this as a ready to use piece of software.
